I am trying to burn a MP4 file to DVD-video on my mac OS X 10.5.7. My Roxio is Toast Titanium 6.1. I keep getting error 50 after it encodes. I am using Fugi film DVD+R. Any suggestions? Any way I could get this Mp4 into a normal DVD format with out having to spend any more $ would be great. It seems like I just bought this version of Toast! Thank you very much. --Julia

Something to try is to choose Save as Disc Image (File menu) instead of clicking the burn button. If that completes okay then choose the resulting .toast file using the Image File setting in the Copy window. Now try burning your DVD. If the disc still doesn't burn then I suggest giving a DVD-R disc a try.

If you plan on making video DVDs I very much recommend getting a newer version of Toast as there are many improvements in that area since Toast 6.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

It still had the same error :-( I'll try the DVD-R next. Thanks!
