Creator 2009 VideoWave was working fine. I can add transition themes but when I try to select an individual transition, the display box says 'there are no items to show in this view". I now have to copy and paste existing transitions form my theme and can't pick new or replacement transitions in both new and existing prodcutions. It's the same for overlays, text and video effects. Any thoughts?

This is an elusive one sometimes…
In some cases it is as simple as not having the right category selected… Having any of the 3-D types selected while Rendering is set to Software will do it:
Otherwise about the only other cure has been Clean Installs…
Check out your settings first.
