With Roxio Creator 2009 Ultimate, How can I convert a PAL DVD to NTSC format? What application do I use, and what are the steps involved? Can anyone offer any help on this?

Thanks,

Assuming it is not Copy Protected, Add it like any other DVD and burn it to the format you like with MyDVD.

I would suggest copying the VIDEO_TS folder from the DVD to your HDD first, then using VideoWave (Edit-Advanced) for the Add. Just click on any file in that copy of the VIDEO_TS folder and it will know what to do.

MyDVD is your disc Authoring tool (Create Video) where you make up the interface you want and add the resulting movie from VW.

Some RW discs are a really good idea for learning and trying out new things.

I know just enough to be dangerous.

Can you please explain how t copy the video_TS folder from the DVD to my HDD. I know where the folder video_ts is, but I don't know where the HDD is.

Thank you, Kitty Barrow

HDD is your hard drive. Put the DVD in your DVD drive. If it starts to play, cancel out.

Make a folder on your hard drive, and copy all of the files, from the DVD, to that folder you just made. (To copy from the DVD, in MyComputer, right click on the DVD drive, and select Explore.)
