Hey everybody. When I first purchased the software and installed it onto my computer, the videos I would transfer from VHS would save on to my Mac as a MOV file. Easy to playback on quicktime. Now that I installed the 1.0.3 update, it saves the videos as a MPEG-2 file and I hate it! Takes much more space and does not play on quicktime. Anybody know how I can change it back to MOV file?

You should convert this  MPEG-2 files into Mov, I always use Moyea Video converter for Mac, it can give you a good service.

The device is an MPEG 2 encoder. When the capturing is done you are given the option to convert to another format if needed.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
