I am trying to create an AVCHD disc with MyDVD (a part of Roxio Creator 2009 Ultimate (Build 111B 10E ENU). I can author the disc, but when I try to burn it, my internet browser launches with the message "Error: server's responce is empty" (yes, I know response is spelled incorrectly). The location of the file that my browser is trying to access is "C:\Users\(My User)\AppData\Lacal\Temp\RxErrorReport.html."
When I got to that location, there is nothing in the folder.
Also, the "Burn Project" window lists an "Overall progress (0%)," and "Current task: Opening Project (40%)."
I have tried running the program as an administrator. I have also disabled my anti-virus program.
Has anyone else had this problem, or know of a solution?

I've never seen that error message before. Try this. Create a small project because as you know, the AVCHD encoding takes a long time. When you go to burn the project, burn to an image file (ISO). select a new folder where there is nothing else in it. Burn to a quality that is close to what the original video quality was. If it encodes to the ISO file, the project is OK. If not, there may be a problem with the project.
If the project encodes, just copy the ISO file to your top quality DVD (not Memorex or store brand) . Verbatim is acceptable. You can use Video Copy and Convert or Creator Classic to copy. If it doesn't copy, then there is a problem with your burner. Some good quality rewritable discs are good for this.
If that works, try your project. Remember only about 45 minutes or less on a AVCHD disc.
You can look through the threads in this part of the forum. But again the normal error received is not the one you received.
Come back and let us know how you make out.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

I get the same error. I created a new AVCHD project. I put the project file, the temp files, and the ISO folder in different locations. When I selected "Burn," the "Burn Project" window came up. After a brief pause, the "Current task: Opening Project" bar jumped to 40% and my browser window launched with the same error.
