Can I create my own menu styles for MyDVD 8?? I find the 3 that come with the package a bit restrictive

You can modify any of those premade styles and then save it for future use. Under FILE, 'Save as Menu Style'. Also at the Roxio Store, there are two additional menu styles packages for purchase.

Cheers Gary that seems to have worked. I've created my main menu but I can't seem to change the chapters menu

You have to actually create a chapter submenu to modify it. In the screen shot I changed the background image for the submenu. You should also be able to change the fonts for any of the text in all versions.
One of the nice features in EMC 8 Deluxe, you can use the buttons and thumbnail frames from different styles. LIke you can use the buttons from Brook style and the thumbnail frames from a different style.
