after using videowave and MYDVD.....i insert the DVD into the dvd player and select the video then press play, then i get the messsage: THIS ACTION IS NOT PERMITTED AT THIS TIME as if the button to start the video is not working. I've made DVDs before the same exact way and never had this problem. The preview of the video acts as the start button to play the DVD. But this time I must have changed something without realizing.
What did I do wrong here?
Thanks in advance

That message is from your DVD player and I would think has nothing to do with burning the DVD.
Does the DVD play on your computer system? Does it play on another DVD players, friend, neighbour?

List the steps you used to create your project.
Also, what is the origin of the files you are using, and what format they are.

all videos/pictures are stored in a folder on my desktop. First i used VIDEOWAVE to arrange the videos and pictures and transitions then saved the project. then i used MYDVD to add a menue style and to insert a picture on the main screen to use as the "start" or "play' button. I never use submenues or chapters, etc. I like to keep it simple.
I've done it this way 3 times before...using a picture as the play button. But this time i must have changed some setting somewhere that it not letting the "play" button (picture) work.
I appreciate all your help.

forgot to add.... i believe all videos are mpeg files. They are directly from my video camera.
