Hi, I have just installed easy VHS to DVD. The video capture box when using the capture video function is very very jerky.
Although the PC i am using is getting on a bit it has above the minimun spec Proc 2.93GHz with 1GB of Ram, Graphics - ATI All-in-Wonder RADEON 8500 DV Edition. Also has USB 2 and have tried USB device in all spare USB ports both front and back.
Running XP SP 3.
This it must be something to do with PC as have tried it on a laptop and seems to be OK.
I need to get it working on the PC, any ideas.

That is plenty of PC to run it…

Does the ‘jerkiness’ actually apply to the capture or only the preview?

Normally it is a graphics issue – update drivers and find Graphics Hardware Acceleration, then slow it down a notch or 2.

Also background programs – Capture is exclusive, nothing else should be running! Nothing!!!
