There were loads of problems using EMC10 which I have re-installed on numerous occasions turning settings on and off and on again, trying to install on a different login without Norton 360 Running  etc etc etc. I will spare you the details except to say If I have done a clean re-install once I have done it at least 10 times, but what I want to know is, does EMC 2010 work under the same principles as EMC10 and will it therefore also have issues with Norton 360 and keep giving R6025 Pure Function call errors all the time or hanging or just crashing, or have these issues been addressed properly and has it been tested against these common known issues????

I would address this to Roxio support, ( https://selfserve.ro...ro1g451sby...2e))/Login.aspx  ) we, your fellow users on here have no way of knowing, yet.

What common known issues are you referring to? I have had no problems installing C2009 or EMC 10 with Norton 360 running.

The known issue I refer to is that it didn't like running in an environment with Norton 360 and was told by Roxio to run it in a profile without Norton, which is really not practical when you need to be online.

I have had a response from Roxio Support who say that all these issues like R6025 pure function call and having to keep re-starting and re-installing have gone away.

I think I will watch this forum for more news before wasting anymore of my money on Roxio
