I just bought Creator 2009, not realizing 10 was about to come out.  Does Roxio have any special deals for those who just purchased the old version such as a free download of the new version or a special upgrade price?  I know ULead used to do this because I got a version for free when I had purchased the previous verision within 30 days.

Thanks!

If the product was purchased from Roxio within 30 days, you can call in for a refund. If not, you have the upgrade option.

Also, please call the software by its proper name.  And that wouldn't be 10.

How exacting are they with the 30 day rule?  I bought mine on 7/22/09  dry.gif

Roxio is pretty strict with the 30 day return policy, but I do know they have been generous when it comes to customers in your situation - where they are just a few days over 30 their return policy.

That is what causes confusion with the different suites.  In this case, I knew it was Creator 2010, but there are a multitude of misplaced posts, in the Creator 2009 forums, that actually belonged in the EMC 9 forums.

And, there are a multitude of instances, where a poster said that they have Creator 9, which is not the real name of Easy Media Creator 9 or Creator 2009.

Yet that is exactly what Roxio calls Easy Media Creator 9 - look!

So we shouldn't be scolding the users for confusion that the company causes, should we.

I know what it says there, but it doesn't say that on the box, or the Home icon, on the desktop, or in Start/All Programs.  And Roxio did not call it Roxio Creator 9, when they sold it.  They called it Roxio Easy Media Creator 9.

And, folks who purchased that version, should not make the mistake of posting questions about it, in the Creator 2009 forums.
