Hi
I need some help i installed creator 2009 ultimate that was fine.I inserted disc 2 and started installing sonicfire/soundsoap,the progress bar indicated install was running when the install finished i looked for soundsoap but i could not find it anywhere so i explored disc 2 opened soundsoap folder and started to install by clicking on the installer it started the progress but stopped with a pop up saying "set requires xp to be installed"?.I am using xp x64 i have downloaded the x64 patch from roxio but when i run it it says exactly the same message.Could this be caused by having a duel boot machine as i have xp x64/Vista ultimate x64.Any help would be much appreciated.

It may have installed if it finished without any message to the contrary.

It would be located under programs in a BIAS group (it's a 3rd party app) not in the Roxio group.

Well in that case, it might be something to do with how it sees your XP partition - perhaps unrecognized.

If that was the case there would not be a x64 update?.

Bias has a lousy web site but that product is compatible with both XP and Vista.  There is no mention of 64 bit.  This is from their site regarding Bias and EMC and this.  I don't know if anything there will help.  I do remember that some people had issues with the install several versions ago and a re-download did solve the problem.

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
