About to purchase 2010, but have some questions;
1) If I purchase the "shipped" version, is a download also allowed to get started with?
2) Is there a "User's Guide" included with the shipped version?
3) If I puchase the "download" version plus backup disc; is there a User's Guide included with the backup?
4) Can I leave 2009 installed on the same machine that I will install 2010 on?
5) It was stated that VideoWave (timeline view) now has 24 tracks (double what's in 2009). What are the additional tracks?
6) I just captured several hours of .avi video with 2009 but have not started to edit yet. Will these captured files be compatible with 2010?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Regarding questions 1 to 4, you will have to contact Roxio since no one here has as yet indicated they have a "shipped" copy.
For 5, I don't know where you got your info but its wrong. C2010 has 32 tracks which is the same as in C2009 and EMC 10. There are no additional tracks.
C2010 should accept the all DV avi video files just as it always has. I am using avi files in C2010 that were captured with EMC 7.5.

Walt;
I misquoted regarding the number of tracks. However, I reopened VideoWave "timeline" and "show/hide tracks". If you add up the default plus optional tracks I get the main video track plus 16 more. Where are the others?
Regarding question #4; Can 2009 and 2010 live together?

There are also 16 tracks for the Internal tracks.
I am pretty sure that C2009 and C2010 can live together although there is no big reason to do so that Ican see.

And for #6....... The video that you captured with version 9 CAN be edited with 2010. In fact, most video editing programs will use .avi files captured from a video camcorder.
