I just completed a DVD from a recent vacation, and I am having two problems, I will describe them:
First, while I am watching my DVD I am unable to skip from chapter to chapter. I have to either fast forward to the next chapter, watch it entirely, or go to the menu screen. What gives?
Second, I have three sub menus on the main menu screen, A, B and C. I was about half way through the various scenes on A (lets say 25 of 50 scenes) when I had an idea for a sub menu on the main menu for B and C ("bonus features" and the like). I stopped working through A to do B and C while it was on my mind. When I was done with B and C, I went back to A and finished the remaining 25 scenes. When I burned it and watched the DVD, I started with menu A and after the 25th scene, sure enough B started playing and then C. How do I go about fixing this seemingly simple problem without starting all over?
Thanks in advance for any help.

If I understand you correctly, you are getting the expected performance. You can start at a chapter of your choice but the "movie" will continue to the end.
If you have several movies (which I thnk you do), you need to go to the navigation and select the right naviagation for you. It should be go to menu after playing movie 1, 2, 3 as desired.

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
