When I try to launch BackUp MyPC I receive the error "Error 1 Starting Data Management Kernel" This is in the popup box under sbewin32. Any suggestions on how to solve the problem. By the way, I did uninstall from "Add Remove" in Windows XP and reinstalled from disk.

I have the same problem and tried uninstall reinstall and no help.

If you updated IE or if you updated WMP, then the program was broken. Sorry. You can go back to the previous versions and the program should work again.
