I'm having a similar problem. I'm runnign windows XP service pack 3. When I run creator 2009 I click create DVDs I then click add add new movie, it then freezes up and the only way to get out of create DVDs is to go to task manager and click end task. What gives? I did download the update.
Please help me
Angie

Does your computer exceed the minimum requirements - here?

Freeze ups liike you are discussing are usually a result of an insufficient video card/chip.  First try to update the drivers for the card/chip from the computer manufacturer.  Then check the manufacturer of the card.  In MyDVD, make sure that you go to tools>Options> put a dot next to software.  Try again.

If you provide more information on your computer hardware, we can help you find updated drivers.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
