I'm just using my VHS to DVD capture device for the first time, and I'm wondering if anyone has tried to put multiple movies onto a DVD. Is it possible to burn part one and part two of a series onto the same DVD?

A standard 4.7GB DVD will hold 60 minutes of video at best quality no matter what the source. If you want to squeeze more video on the DVD it will reduce quality. You have to decide whether its worth a few cents to lose a lot of quality.

Yes but as Walt mentioned, quality is not so good…

Get some RW discs to play with while you learn. Then try it out.

So is it impossible to transfer a video to a DVD? If so, what's the point of this program? The video says it is supposedly 141 min long. I tried a DVD-RW which shows 2 hours+ when I try to start the capture. Can I copy only a portion of a video? No matter what I try, the "capture now" button is unavailable to  me.

Try capturing to your hard drive first.  Don't do plug and burn.

Also, capture in 15 minute increments.  There is less chance of dropping frames and less chance of getting the dreaded Audio/Video sync problems.

Life is good!
