mad.gif   I am very frustrated...I purchased this software at Office Max and have had problems immediately!  I can't install...it says "interrupted".  It seems to lock up immediately - at the Direct X installation.  I have Vista Home Premium 64 bit with Service Pack 1.  I ran all updates, disabled virus software, restarted numerous times.   I have Norton 360 - could this be causing conflicts?  I would really like to get this resolved without going though 100 steps just to install this thing.  I don't understand why software can't just work upon bringing it home!  I have a new Toshiba laptop purchased in Nov.  Any help would be appreciated!

Did you look here, Support?

Try it out and let us know.

Yes, I tried everything, tried installing it more than 5 times, and nothing.   I don't believe support is all that helpful since you can't make a free support phone call.

Did you disable Norton360 especially the Firewall when installing?

Well you are telling us very little – don’t work –did everything – don’t work

Not anything to go with.

You are wrong about Support. Install problems are free.

You are also trying to install to a laptop. They often make poor video platforms – but it should install regardless.

The Clean Install is located Vista. I is for 2009 but V2D is based on 2009, so it works.

So far the thing to do is a clean install...the online tech help also told me to do that.  So I tried it and it was unsuccessfull.  I am VERY frustrated at this point and ready to return this thing!  I followed the steps for the MSCONFIG, then tried to delete programs in the Control Panel, but there were no programs to delete.  I then went ahead to download the Windows Installer Clean Up, then could not install the thing on my computer.  Ran into multiple errors, tried 3 different times, and finally had to abort.  Internal Error 2908, Error 1406, Couldn't install due to fatal error, etc., etc..  I stopped this process and I'm afraid to continue...I don't want to ruin my computer trying to install this thing!  It's not worth it!  Any advice as to where to proceed?  I'm at a dead end.

And what phone number can you call for free?  I'm confused by that also.  Everything I read says there's a charge, only free for particular programs only - of course not the one I have.
