Have been running EMC 8 on my XP laptop for several years (run EMC 10 on Vista desktop). Laptop just died and have replaced it with a Toshiba Satellite with Vista Home Premium SP2 (and probably Windows 7 when released) -and all the latest MS odds and ends (IE 8, WMP 11, etc).

Is there any way that EMC 8 will install or run on this new Vista laptop? If not, anyone know how Roxio views second installation of EMC 10?

Anyone know if EMC 10 will run on Windows 7?

Thanks

I don't think that EMC 8 will run properly in Vista. I believe that EMC 9 was the first one to be Vista certified.

I can't speak for Roxio, but they would probably disapprove of you installing a 'single license' product on two different computers, if you told them.

I haven't needed to try it myself, but I have no reason to believe that EMC 10 won't run in Windows 7. You might like to explore the EMC 10 and Windows 7 forums to see if anyone has found a conflict.
