Everytime I try and burn a dvd ( with Easy Creator 8)  either a photo slideshow or video project I keep getting the error message of "error while encoding movie" or "error while encoding intro" or "memu" .

I've gone to ask Roxanne and I get no response. What does one have to do get get assistance.

HELP!!!!!!!!! :)

I have added the latest update patch and it still doesn't work!!!!

Have you tried saving to an image file (ISO) instead of burning to disc?  Also, you should check to see if your burner is using the latest firmware.

Also, check for updates for your video card.

If none of the suggestions help, post back and list your system specs.

Did you try to create the ISO file instead of burning to DVD? Saving the images to your hard drive is not the same thing

Sorry, I'm not all that experienced with some of the computer terms. ISO? How to I save to an ISO?

Sorry for being so stupid. I am just seeking help.

Thanks to all those that reply.

Remove the check mark at 'burn to disk' and put a check in the 'save to file' (or image file....can't remember, it's in use now). Name the file and burn it.  When finished, browse to where the file is saved and double click it to burn it in Disc Copier.  Burning direct to disc is taxing to some computers and prone to errors.  The extra step is worth it IMO.
