There is no new myDVD10! myDVD 10 is over 2 years old.
Are you perhaps referring to the just recently released Roxio Creator 2010? Please be specific with the names when refering to the different program suites to avoid confusion.
In general, project files from okder versions are not compatible with neqw versions. What project files have the extension "dvd"? Also no DVD burned with any version of myDVD can be modified. All video DVDs are finalized.

Thanks,
I’m using the new MyDVD 10 Premier, just buyed.
I open the utility MyDVD 10 to prepare a new DVD, and then I’ve tried:
1. the menu: file/modify dvd with a DVD prepared with Mydvd 9.
The program finds many titles and then it stops all…
2. then I’ve tried: file/import a MYDVD project (extension *.dvd) prepared with MyDVD 9.
The program finds many things but then it stops all…

Yes it will import any MyDVD *.dvd projects you have… However that file extension was only used in versions V6 and before of MyDVD.
I am guessing you don’t have any.
Roxio started using dmsm files in V7. It was called DVD Builder there and was changed to “MyDVD” in V8.
So to your question of will EMC 10 files work in 2010??? Don’t really know (I don’t have any EMC 10 files).
