Alas and alack the “digital gurus” keep ducking the issue. ggrussell said it is an exaggeration that I reported there were several thousand reviews of this issue. As of this time there have been more than 2700 in Creator 2009 and now almost 90 in Creator 2010.
Despite ggrussel’s comment that I've found a solution and summarily closed the thread – there is NO solution.
I'm puzzled as to why the experts keep blowing this off.

You really can't put much value in the number of "views" topics have. All it does is count the number of times the topic was looked at. Your other topic has about 100 "views" for example. That counts every time you opened the topic to read it or to post to it. If you opened it and read it, but nothing else, then came back later and added a post, that's 2 views right there. there's no way to tell how many times any one person has "viewed' any one topic. A number of the "views" on a topic are going to be someone looking for info, or just seeing what's being discussed (a lot of the regulars do that btw). It doesn't mean that everyone who "viewed" a topic has had that particular problem or the same question or are seeking help with what's being discussed. I probably "viewed" your other post half a dozen times myself, just to see what progress was taking place on the thread. Not because I have any issue like what was being discussed, because I can't replicate it, but more so for info that might be helpful to someone else down the road.

Gary and Larry is kind, my personal preference was to dump your post…

You offer absolutely nothing and just came here to rant.

We will work with anyone who is trying to resolve an issue. And is there is no resolution most are mature enough to accept that fact.

Dude, we ain't 'experts' nor do we have any connection to the company. We're just users just like yourself. Every once in awhile someone from Roxio will appear to answer questions. You've gone on to another application so what is your point in continuing this discussion? So there are a few people have issues with this one feature. Look at the other side -- there are probably hundreds of thousands using that same feature with no issues.

rolleyes.gif Gentlemen please accept my apologies if my missive gave rise to the thought that this “Dude” was in any way dissing either of you. Like many others I have greatly benefited from your sage help and advice over the years. The tone and timbre of my comments came from the frustration of countless hours of trying to rid my slideshow productions of the writing format error when compiling upwards of 200 jpg pictures and attempting to burn them AVCHD to DVD so that we can enjoy the full richness of our travel pictures.

Roxio technical support has really hung in there with me. They’re so customer support oriented that after more than two weeks of numerous “try this” they refunded the cost of my Creator 2009 Ultimate and then sent me a free copy of Creator 2010. Even though the same error occurred in C2010 they have kept sending me suggestions for finding a work-around.

I am cautiously optimistic that with Roxio’s great help we have finally got a bingo. I am going to open a new thread to convey the process and the outcome to others. Mea Culpa
