[font="Book Antiqua"][size=4][color="#0000FF"]I completed installing RC2009 on my new Vista Home Premium 64 bit Dell Inspiron computer with great difficulty, or so I thought. When I start the program from desktop shortcut, it goes into installation mode. It asks for the program disk, installs the program and configures it, and asks for a reboot to make the changes effective.

After reboot, the same thing happens all over again as I try to start the program. I am back to square one.

I need help to get out of this cycle. Otherwise, I am exasperated and about to return the product.

I may also add that I wrote to technical support and they opened a case number. It has been several days after that, and I am still waiting to hear from them.

Interestingly, I found that I can start an individual application from the start menu, or at a few that I tried, but I cannot get to the the home page where I can choose a task. Is there a service pack I need to download and install?

I welcome any help.

1. You might want to refrain from listing your email on the forum to avoid possible spamming. Once someone has responded to your thread, you will be automatically notified.
2. It appears that your basic home app appears to be broken. You would have to start here

Thanks for responding, and for your suggestion not to give my email address away. I went ahead and removed it.
I already did a Clean Install for Creator 2009 on Windows Vista, following Knowledgebase Article 000207CR. The instructions are pretty detailed, but I think I followed them faithfully.
I just found on the box that the system requirement is Windows Vista Home Basic. I have a Vista Home Premium 64-bit machine. Can it be that the version of Creator 2009 I have is not compatible with it?
