I have the VHS to DVD program and have been making DVDs with MyDVD. I am not very tech savvy, but I have figured out how to create, edit, and burn DVDs. Currently I've burned to DVD +R . We have a PC. My problem is that I make a slideshow (not what it is called in the VHS to DVD program) by adding photos and audio (on the music track). When I preview the DVD the audio (music track) sounds fine, but once the DVD is burned and I play it on my older DVD players, the music skips and jumps around. I have burned many copies so I know it is not the actual DVD. When I play it on various DVD players, sometimes the music skips worse, one time it even skipped a few of the pictures. On my mom's DVD player it only skips a little bit. I don't know what to do! I could try buring to a DVD -R but I'm not sure if that will fix the problem. The audio on the rest of the DVD is fine, including movie audio (people talking) and background menu audio.
Also, is there a way to fade music in and out on the music track??
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

You have come a long way, just getting to where you are!
Too vague to really guess… I would initially lean toward media. We don’t seem to ever hear any complaints about Verbatim & Taiyo Yuden. Always a good idea to have a disc or 2 of RW around to test with.
Yes the VideoWave editor included in V2D is one powerful editor! I suggest you visit the EMC 9 – 10 & Creator 2009 forums and look at the Tips & Tricks and How To forums. There are postings and even videos covering these things as well as questions you haven’t even thought of yet

Thank you I'll check that out for the audio fading in. I did try burning to a Fuji Film +RW and the Sony +R and had skipping with them both.
Do you think the + or - R would make a difference?

I have always had good lick with the Sony’s. Fuji, well…
Yes, ‘dash’ or ‘plus’ can make a difference with old Players. But another test is to see if it plays OK on your PC.
If a DVD plays correctly in one place, it indicates a media or player problem.
