I'm using EMC 8.0.  I have long wav files I want to burn to cds, but I want to be able to divide them into tracks without going to a lot of trouble.  Basically, I'd like a track break every six minutes or so, or I'd be happy to divide an hour-long file into ten equal portions.  Is there an easy way to do this?

Look into the tutorials in Sound Editor.  You can manually adjust where to split the file into sizes you choose.
