I'd also add the question, what do you use 10 for? Does it do what you need it to or do you need more? Better AVCHD support.
I think the encoding is better (faster too) and as with every update, some new things are added and some other things are taken away.......that's progress!
However, since you're 2 versions removed, why not take the plunge. Help the economy, save the world!
