Pretty simple,

I load the songs in the order i want them burnt, after burning there in alphabetical order???? I have looked and cant find a way to change that, of course its probably just me. I would really love to change this because i hate having to flip 99songs to here them in the order i want..
thanks for all your help.

Hello J-Tin,

CD-Audio discs are the only CDs where you can set the play order at burn time. Any discs holding MP3 files are at the mercy of Windows' alpha-numeric sorting.

If you want your files sorted in a particular way in the disc directory, rename them to add a two-digit number to the front of the filename. Your files will then appear as 00First.mp3; 01Second.mp3; 02Third.mp3 . . .  and will play in that order.

Brendon is correct. To add a little bit more - if it is a mp3 disc there is a ‘Playlist’ that sets the order of play.

Of course your PLAYER has to be one that utilizes a Playlist… Cheap ones generally don’t.

One bright light in all of this is to use Music Disc Creator for you mp3 Projects. Under File – Project Settings there is a checkbox for ‘Rename tracks to ensure playback order’.
