Hi,
I recently purchased the Easy VHS-DVD for my Notebook Computer. I have a Dell Inspiron 1720 with windows Vista home premium 32 bit.
I successfully installed the software, and it works ok.
I can capture video from my VCR and create a Project.

I click the "Burn" Button and it encodes the video. It gets to 100% and then I click the "OK" button. I
understand that this step will automatically finalize the DVD.
I'm burning to a DVD+R disc.
Now, the DVD I just Burned plays A-Okay when played back on my Notebook, B U T, It will not play back on our Samsung DVD/VCR Player.

The DVD player gives me this on screen message:
This Disc cannot be played.
Please check the disc.

I've burned the project twice with the same results.
What am I doing Wrong?
Ron

If the DVD burned properly on your computer then you most likely did nothing wrong since the burn was succesful. The problem may be that between your DVD player and the make of DVDs your are using. What make are you using? Many of us have the best success with Verbatim

I'm using Memorex DVD+R (Recordable * 16X * 4.7GB * 120 Min)

I've burned two disc using Roxio with no success using the Samsung DVD/VCR Player connected to our 42" Samsung LCD TV.

Problem Solved... I tried the DVD in another DVD Player on our downstairs TV. The DVD works just fine.

I put a store bought DVD in the first DVD/VCR player I used to test the DVD I created. I just keeps loading and loading. The DVD is not being picked up and does not spin in the Player... It's the Player not the DVD that has a problem...

Thanks for your response.

Ron
