I have spent hours trying to get my EMC 9 to run properly. I cannot load Photosuite or Videowave. I have visited this discussion group many times and have tried every "fix" posted. I have expended hour upon hour and still cannot get the programs to run. The time spent is almost criminal.
I thank all of you for your help, but I am done.
I will never purchase any other products from this company and I will advise anyone whoever asks me to stay away from any products manufactured by Roxio, Sonic Solutions or any other name they may create or call themselves.
Bottom line-these products are inherently defective. No one should have to go through the processes prescribed to get a peice of software to work. No program purchased with hard-earned money should require someone to have a comuputer science or IT Degree to get working.
It makes you feel that this company should be investigated for illegal, unfair and unacceptable practices.
From this point I will stick with companies that properly support thier products and not just try to hawk upgrades that will eventually fail also.
Once again, I thank all of you who have given me advice and solutions even though they didn't work.
I will be sending any e-mail notices from this company to my junk mail bin which is where this software should be dumped.

Useless rant especially since you could not even post in the forum for the software you have.

First, the version you have hasn't been sold, by Roxio, in over 2 years. Where did you get it?
Second, you only ranted and gave no useful information on wha you actually tried to do and what, if any errors you got.
Third, you gave no information on what the specs of your computer are.
Now that your rant is over, give up some useful information, and maybe someone can help.
Life is good!
