I'm using Creator 2009 to digitize ancient Lp's, and the noise floor is quite high; track splitting can be a challenge.  One thing I wish I could do - but it might not be possible - is to "punch in" track splits live while listening.

Attempts to do so approximate the track position but the cursor always jumps back a fraction of a second, so I have to manually correct each one at least once again (the noise floor on some of these Lp's dating back 50 years is quite high so even zooming way in and trying to place the markers doesn't help).

What would be great would be if I could click the track splitter icon and have the mark land precisely where I clicked it, not a jump back.  I'm using a fast i7 machine and all that, but is "real time" punch-in of tracks with total accuracy beyond the scope of the program with all it's "processing" ?

THanks for any help - Billh333Lp

Don't think that is possible.  There is auto track detection or manual.
