angry.gif I'm using a WD 1 TB in DVD USB port. I have saved movies as AVI files. They appear as files but when I select the file, the error message is unsupported codec. What can I do to convert them?

What codec are the AVIs using?

If you download the free GSpot Information Appliance from here, run it, and drag an AVI onto the GSpot display you'll be told what codecs are used, and if you have them installed.

You haven't said what Sonic/Roxio software you are using, but if it is a full un-disabled version it should then be just a matter of downloading and installing the required codec.
