I'm using mydvd 8. I just created a project with a top level menu and a sub menu for chapter selection. When I click my top level menu in the tree view on the left the preview and editing screen on the right is just black. The menu shows up fine when I prevew the disc, but I can't sem to edit it anymore. Any ideas? This has happened multiple times while creating and editing menus.

if you save the project then re-open it, the menu is still not showing up?

What is the video card you have?

Is it a 'real' video card or built onto the motherboard? We see alot of display problems with the motherboard chipsets. Upgrading to an add-in card usually fixes all that.

Make sure you have the lastest video drivers and DirectX.

I'm running a 128MB ATI X300 PCIExpress. I just updated the drivers and directX. Unfortunately this didn't seem to have any effect. The problem persists across project opens and closes. It also persists across mydvd and computer restarts. Any other ideas? Thanks!

Read all the pinned topics at the top of this forum and the General forum. I recall there are some issues with ATI video cards. Perhaps someone with an ATI card can help.
