When I try to execute the "Batch Convert and Transfer" option. I get this error:

Could not load C:\Multimedia\Roxio 2010\AudioCore\sndappdll12.dll

When I press the OK button, application loads, but does not display correctly. The file exists in the above location.

I am running Creator 2010 on Vista Ultimate x64 SP2.

That's an odd one  glare.gif

I checked 3 PC’s and there is no such Folder or DLL on them?

Google returns nothing for that DLL?

Can you supply some more details and what doesn’t display right with Roxio Audio Converter?

Might want to do a good AV check on that PC.

I have that dll on my computer in the location noted.  My Batch Convert and Transfer works OK.  I also have Vista Ultimate 64 bit but only SP1.

Have you tried a repair (with your anti-virus off)?

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Hi Jim,

I don't install to the default location. Check under .../AudioCore/ for the sndappdll12.dll file.

I am a software engineering so I can say for a fact that this is not a virus problem. I am running NIS 2010.

Here is the information about the sndappdll12.dll file:

File description       Roxio Audio Mastering Framework
Type                     Application Extension
File version            12.2.1.85
Product name         Roxio Audio Applications
Product version      12.2.1.85
Copyright              Copyright © 1994-2007 Sonic Solutions
Size                      1.92 MB
Date modified        7/24/2009 12:30 PM
Language              English (United States)

Its too hard to explain what doesn'y display correctly. Too bad we can't insert images.

Do you have Creator 2010 installed, Jim? If so, have a look there and you should see it.

In my machines with C2010 Pro installed it lives in \Program Files\Roxio 2010\AudioCore. It's 2,021,872 bytes, and says it is "Roxio Audio Applications 8, Product Version 12.2.1.85" dated 07-24-09 and timed 12:30:36 on my three machines. [Vista, XP, and W7]

Hi Guys,

Doing a repair fixed the problem...Thanks sknis

That's really odd Jim. This file is definitely part of Creator 2010 Pro. I downloaded the installation. Did you install from a download or from disk?

That's a worry, Jim. sad.gif  Can you see the \Program Files\Roxio 2010\AudioCore directory? Mine has 41 files and 4 subdirectories in it.

You might be missing a lot of function. Time for a Clean install or three?

I'll double check when I get back, but I searched the HDD's on all 3 and for "Audiocore" and got zip!

Checking my Mini 10, which only has V2D on it, I do see the directory...

Thinking I probably miss-typed the search word and did notice  huh.gif
