vhs to dvd ,picture is wavy

I captured from my video camera to my computer and then burned a dvd from my computer.
The problem comes in the viewing. Whenever the video camera was moved quickly the capture
seemed to make the picture wavy. When the camera was slowly moving it wasn't quite as
noticable. I did capture from my computer some digital video that I took with my other camera
and there was no distortion of the picture. What could be wrong with the capture setting?

Something that usually fixes that is to go under Tool – Options – Render and set it to Software.

Give that a try.
