I got a new video camera (JVC Everio hard disk camcorder) which records video in mpeg2 format.  I tried to load the video into a video wave 8 production but when I click on the folder that the video file is in it says "there are no media files in this folder that match the filter settings.  To change the filter settings, click the Filter for Media Types button".

The filter settings lists mpeg2 as one of the types the program accepts (along with several other types).  Why won't it let me insert the video?  I know the video is there in that folder for I am able to view and play it just fine in WMP. Anyone have any ideas/suggestions.

Thank You

More than likely you aren’t in the right folder… If they are there, they will show.

Use windows Explorer to copy them to a specific folder, then navigate to that folder.

You can also just drag them from Explorer into MyDVD directly.
