I am using Videowave EMC 9.0. As I create a (.dmsm) file, the music that I insert loads fine until the last panel where is goes to a forced stop about 4 seconds before the end of the last picture panel (even though the music is longer). If I increase the duration of the last panel or any other panel, the music timeline will extend to about 4 seconds before the end of the panel timeline. I also have observed that the "production length" matches the timeline of where the music stops as apposed to the timeline of the picture panels. I cannot find anything that is remotely related to this problem in the knowledge database. In the past, I have always been able to make adjustments on the music track which matched the length of the panel timeline. When I render the file to create a (.mpg) file, it does so without error.
I deinstalled and reinstalled EMC 9.0 and have the same problem. I cannot think of any changes that I may have made to my system.
The next process that I do is make a DVD using My DVD. This program encodes the (.mpg) files but has been hanging at the 99% point of encoding the above mentioned (.mpg) file. No errors are shown it just hangs. I try to close the encoding screen and the My DVD screen, the screens do not close. When I open the Task Manager it shows MyDVD running then flashes to not responding and finally My DVD closes.
Both of these problems started happening about the same time which makes me think that they are related. The first thing that I tried was to do a system restore to when it did work without success.
The files that are failing are between 19 and 26 minutes long. In the past I have successfully done a 43 minute file.
Does anyone have any ideas??
