I just installed Roxio 2009 and I cannot capture Audio off the net. I have a Dell Deminsion 5150 with a Sigma Tel High Definition Codec sound card. Can anyone help?

I believe it is your sound chipset.  To record off the net, you need a sound card or chipset that has the record 'what your hear' or 'Stereo Mix' option.  I think the SigmaTel lacks this feature. Maybe someone with that sound chip can verify that.

Can you recommend a particular Creative sound card?

I've had good luck with the XiFi line.  Turtle Beach has a few in the $40 to $50 range that might work for you.  I'd check out their forums if you aren't sure which one would work best for your needs.
