I recorded my .jpg photo files onto a CD-RW disc. But I cannot Finalize the disc using the File pull-down menu (item is not highlighted). I took the disc to a store to have photos printed, but the disc would not work. I suspect that it is the Finalizing procedure. Is there any solution to the problem - any links for fixes to the version that I have (which came preinstalled on my Dell Dimension 8250)?

First of all - go back and delete the e-mail (if you aren't too late) because all that will get you is a lot of spam

How did you create the disc?

One thing you can try, which should automatically finalise it, is, instead of burning directly to the disc, make a .iso image file on the hard drive first. Double click that and it should then automatically write the CD for you
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

You might be better off using CD-R, since RW media is less reflective than R media.  It also will give you an extra back-up copy should the need ever arise.

Also, I hope you are not formatting the disc - that would be very likely to make it incompatible with the photo-printing device.

And, as Daithi said, google and other search engines regularly search these public Forums, and they in turn are searched by spammers seeking to "harvest" email addresses for spamming.
