I'm having the same problem using "edit audio" or "burn audio cd", cannot hear anything. The preview button on "burn audio cd" does nothing. When playing on "edit audio", the bar shows that its playing, but nothing can be heard.. If I try to play the same audio on Windows Media Player.....nothing.

Your do not have the same problem at all The OP is trying to burn a video DVD which has nothing to do with your problem of burning an audio CD.

Please start a new thread describing in detail what you are trying to do, what you have done, what program you are using.

If you cannot also hear anything when playing Windows Media Player then I'd say you have a system sound problem.
If the meters are moving then the sound is there.
If you're not hearing it then it sounds like your Windows sound setup is either wrong,muted or turned off.
