I have taken an .avi file and imported into MyDVD and can watch entire movie and also have added chapters. When I go to burn the dvd the project passes validation then it goes to encode movie stage. The movies looks like it is moving thru for a second and then hangs and the encoding stage never gets past 0%. Please help!

Thanks, Marty

How long did you wait?  Encoding takes a long time, and the length of time, depends on the power of your computer.

Try updating the drivers to the latest for your Video card.
Seems I remember past posts where this helped.

I have the latest drivers for the ATI Radeon Mobility HD 3650 video card. My laptop is a very recent thinkpad laptop with core duo T9400 processor and 3GB memory.

Any other ideas????

Try uninstalling the driver, reboot, then re-install the driver.
