Is anyone else finding that some programming is available for downloading while some is unavailable (red circle with a slash through it next to the file name in the TiVo list)? I'm specifically having the problem with ALL HBO and Showtime shows.

If you have a Series 3, your provider is setting the copy protection bit which is coming along with the digital stream. TiVo has no option but to observe the bit -- which results in seeing the red circle with a slash through it. You may be able to get your provider to change what they're doing, but since these are premium channels -- it's unlikely that they'll do so.

I have the same problem. Using Time Warner in LA. It beyond sucks.
