I am using Roxio Creater DE 9.0.116. When I download voice data from a conference call or speech, I can hear the recording on my computer CD player. But I cannot hear the recording from my CD player or 2009 Car CD system. What am I doing wrong?

It appears you created a data CD rather than an audio cd. Do you know the format of the voice data file? It sounds like it is an mp3 file (or wma). If so, your system most likely has application that recognize such file format and thus able to play the voice data file. Windows Media Player is an example of such application (assuming you have Win XP).
Your CD player and car CD system probably do not have the capability to play music data file; just the regular audio CD (like the commercial music CDs). Most of the current systems now have the functionality to play data CDs (music files) as well.
