DivX to DVD with subtitles

I have two divx .avi files that I would like to make into a DVD. It is very easy with the DIVX to DVD option. However I also have a .sub and .idx file for the subtitles for each of the two .avi files. How do I make sure the finished product shows the subtitles? If I add the .sub and idx files to the Video_TS folder with the .vob file that divx to dvd makes before burning with dvd copier should this work?

I don't believe you are able to add subtitles from the subtitle files you have (.idx and .sub) to the DVD you created with EMC 7/7.5. Personally I don't know any software that would do it directly.

ok this topic is a little old but can i add subtitles from .srt files to a DVD using 7.5?? never really tried it and can't see any options anywhere...
