Hi,
When I try to add a new movie in MyDVD 9 as the avi's start to load for preview the window closes down and then goes back to the home screen.
Sometimes if I select the movies and add them before the previews have loaded I can get them on to my project and it all works from there, its just if I go back to add a background it goes to that last menu and the avi previews are already loaded so it then closes the window!!
Any ideas??!!
MyDVD 9 keeps closing

I think I understand you. In MyDVD, go to the top menu and select tools, options and then put the dot near software render. If that doesn't do it, come back and post your computer specs.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

I've just tried changing render to software and that has not helped.
Am not on about the preview in MyDVD, its on the menu when you add a movie when it closes!
Am wondering if there is a way to turn off the preview when you are looking for a movie to add.
My computer specs are,
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.00 GHz
1.00 GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce FX5200
Plextor DVDR PX-755A
Samsung CDR SM-352F
Win XP Pro SP3
Dell Dimension 8300
Creative SB Audigy
Erm... Do you need anything else?!!!

Now I think I understand you. I don't remember anyone else having that problem. Perhaps someone else will be able to help.
