I just bought a Roxio Creator 2009 recently. Howvwer, I could not install it. The first problem I met was "You must install Roxio Easy Madia Creator 10 before installing the Content".

After running 2009ContentDiscError_HotFix.exe, this probem disappeared. Then comes the second one "Installation of Creator 2009 Ultimate Wizard was interrupted".

I have tried all the ways I could find in Roxio websites, I still could not solve this problem.
I have requested the tachnical support since yesterday, so far no reply from them.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks.

Thank you Digital Guru.

I visited the link you rpovided.
It seems that it was the first problem I met: "You must install Roxio Easy Media Creator 10 before installing the content" while installing Roxio Creator 2009".
I have downloaded and run the 2009ContentDiscError_HotFix.exe.

Right now I have the second problem "Installation of Creator 2009 Ultimate Wizard was interrupted".

Maybe you can provide me more details about it?

HINT: It is this one.

I have unplugged the internet and disabled all the anti-viruses.
I have uninstalled the Miccrosoft.net framework 3.5 SP1.
However, I could not uninstall Roxio video capture USB driver.
In Windows Inataller Clean Up list, there is no Roxio or Sonic related entrances.

Then, the re-installation was started. This time it is completed.
But, after double clicking the “roxio Creator 2009 Ulti mate” icon, the program crashed with such a message:
“Roxio Creator has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience. “

No idea how to do with that.

Download and install the SP4 update, second one at the top.
