We have captured a meeting using a USB mic through Roxio VideoWave under the Capture/Import function on a Vista based client machine.
However the output file has been created as 44 bytes in size when it should be atleast 3GB.
On closer investigation the file won't play in media player and using Roxio Sound Editor shows the file has 212 minutes of recording but no sound waves at all.

When exporting the file it says it requires 3GB of space!

So it seems the file has the recording particially but is unplayable.

Any idea on what happened and if we can get this audio to play?

P.S. testing prior and after meeting proved to work fine including another 3 hour recording so what happened with that particular one?

Which application? What is the file extension? You're probably not looking at the actual wave file.
