Forum Members, who is able and willing to explain how to handle to get separated recorded files of the 1 and 2 side of a long player ? ROXIO EASY VHS TO DVD is a great program and - more or less - very easy to work with .... BUT .... ? .... there is not very much explanation to be found in the multi-lingual-booklet. starting the recording of 1 track - then pause and starting the recording of the next track - and so on - could be some option ? who is having a - maybe - better option ? my first result ? 2 files - the recordings of side 1 and 2. in fact and to be very honest ? i don't like to call or name this proces : burning. thank you for your attention and reaction. kind regards.

Not to put too fine of a point on it, but you got €50 worth of product and paper costs a lot more…
Did you look at the Tutorials under Help? (Edit: corrrected and not really that much good...)
Otherwise I think you are referring to Audio Capture & Edit???
Assuming Audio, I will agree that Suite is limited in that area! It is aimed at Video and is feature rich in that part
You can use Windows Explorer to drag & drop audio files into Roxio LP and Tape Assistant... So if you do your captures and then add them back into it a new project, won't that give you what you are after?

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage - when i mouse-click on your suggestion : Tutorials
i did already googled many scrabble - no results - only 2 PDF's - same texture as the booklet
i know paper is very expensive - and the product is cheap ? thank's anyway
i think the option : record the track - stop the recording - lift the groover - next ? - record the next track - lower the groover - finished ? - stop the recording - lift up the groover - and so on - and so on - i think i am smart - kind regards.

Well I did dumb on the link… It was really the Tutorials from the V2D – Help – Tutorials.
I looked at them and they offer less than what you have already know!
Did you actually ever try this??? I just used it an mp3 Player and it breaks a continuous recording into separate tracks as soon as you hit stop.

Then you could do as I suggested – Export them, do the second side, Export them. Start a new Project and add the exports into it with Windows Explorer.
I don't have a deck to try, but I don't see how it would differ...
Sometimes you have to do more than read and poke it a little to see what it does
