OK this is my first attempt at doing this. I already have a question. I copied a gymnastics VHS tape from 1982, on playback everything is sped up slightly. What have I done incorrectly? What can I do to fix this problem with existing copied file? What can I do to fix future recordings? I am storing these to external hard drive but will place them on DVD soon.
Thank You for any help. Rome

It would help if you were to tell us what software suite/program you are using. Your post can then be moved to the correct forum.

The next question (after knowing what software you're using) is, did it appear sped up as you watched the preview while it was recording?  If no, then, "are you sure"?  To test, start playback of the captured video with the tape, and see if there's a noticeable difference.

Let us know.
