After creating a photo slideshow, adding a background audio track and burning the dvd, the music stops 3/4 through the slideshow. I created it with Slideshow Assistant and then burned the dvd. I chose the option to "loop if too short".

The first disc was fine. Played on DVD drive on computer, played with TV and DVD player. I then wanted to make changes so I started over. The next disc worked fine until 3/4 through the slide show and all of a sudden, no background music. The photos are fine and play to the end. I decided since I had changed media, to burn another using my original media, a Memorex disc. Again, the music stopped even though the first disc burned was a Memorex and worked. The second disc was an HP Lightscribe. Both are DVD-R, both are 16x.

I'm guessing something is happening in the burning process or the software is not functioning properly. Any suggestions?

Also, I have tried it using the saved file and starting all over creating a new slideshow. I did burn 2 new and in both cases the music stopped at the exact same point.

I'm moving this because you said that you are having trouble with Creator 2009. You inadvertently post it in E<C 7/7.5

Try making the slide shows in Edit Video-Advanced. You are not the first person who tried to do something other than the basic slide show in one of the Assistants and had trouble.

I opened the saved file and then edited; deleted the attached audio file then browsed and "re-attached"; finished edit, saved and burned another disc and all is well. Music and photos play to the end with no problem. smile.gif
