I have 3 external USB hard drives and a second DVD/CDRW writer on a USB chain that I connect as needed.  Computer is IBM laptop running XP Pro.  Had EMC7.5 installed and upgraded from CD to EMC8 without the USB chain attached.  During install was asked to confirm deletion of IBM DLA as conflicting with EMC8.  Authorized the delete and install ran perfectly.  Restarted and then installed content CD.  Launched EMC8 and registered with no difficulty.  Then I plugged in the USB chain.

System only recognized 3 of 4 devices and hung on the 4th.  No matter what combination I allow to power up, system will not recognize 4th drive and continually tries to read it without success.

Need to know what change to make to allow 4th drive to be mounted or need to uninstall ECM8 and reinstall IBM DLA
