I am having trouble downloading movies from the convert option directly to the PSP it seems to hang when I get to the download point. Can anyone help?

You mean uploading to the PSP from Video Copy and Convert? What kind of movie and where did you get it? What format is the video file? Have you tried to burn it to a folder and then using Media Manager to copy it to the PSP?
If it hangs, then the movie may not be compatible or error free. Playing it on the computer doesn't count because media players usually skip over the error; converters can't do that.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
